Baby Showers

A few weeks ago, Ashley and I threw Amy a beautiful baby shower focused around pregnancy cravings. Her mother was kind enough to let us borrow her beautiful kitchen for the day and we had a great time eating and spending time with friends.

We had salty and we had sweet...

We even had an ice cream buffet, complete with lots of sprinkles.

And of course, the beaming mother...who delivered a beautiful Liam a few days later.

Tauni also threw Jessica a baby shower just in time to welcome little Lily into the world.

Congrats to all of my friends who are newly-mothers, I can't wait to watch your families grow!

Nurse Kylee

My faith has been restored in IHC. Today I was offered a position at Intermountain Medical Center in their Operating Room. I feel so blessed because not only is this my first position as a nurse but it is my dream job! I did my capstone in this OR and was so sad when they couldn't offer me a job at the time of graduation. I thought my world was crashing down when I found myself graduated and jobless a few months ago but now see that it was a blessing in disguise. I, in the meantime, was able to spend 2 and a half months at Mountain America and I even had a few months of the summer off. I feel so blessed and couldn't be more excited to start my new job on October 4th!!

Last month, I had the opportunity to see a legend. The Tramel family grew up with a Beatles soundtrack- my favorite song at 8 years old was "I am the Walrus". So.. it was no wonder that when we heard that Paul McCartney was coming to Utah (for the very first time), that all 5 of us Tramel siblings could not wait to go. My mom gave up her tickets so that my brothers and sisters could go but had concert remorse and bought more tickets at the stadium so she could come. It was wonderful to experience this amazing, once-in-a-lifetime night with my family. Also, as you may have guessed, I cried. When I first saw Paul on stage, when I first heard him sing live, and each time he sang a Beatles song. It was breathtaking.

It's been 5 freaking years.

A few weeks ago, James and I had our 5 year reunion. It has been so much fun over the past few years to have James and I both as Bingham High Alumni. We grew up with the same group of friends and most of them married eachother too. We had a blast hanging out with everybody!

This is Dallas and his wife Jessica. Dallas invented Kisstix- a brand new product that will hopefully be available in drugstores someday soon. Keep an eye out for them and support this fabulous entrepreneur!

I went on a business trip with James. We stayed at a hotel in the middle of nowhere and they had a random miniature golf course next to their pool. (James stuffed his shirt in his pocket.)

Homecoming!

This morning, my 2 beautiful sisters came home. For the past 4 months, they have been in China and I think they were as anxious to get back as we were to have them back. They had quite a struggle making it to SLC- long layovers, cancelled flights, an unexpected night in LA- but they are finally home. Needless to say, I cried... a lot.
