Christmas Break

I have loved having time off from school the past 3 weeks. After the wedding, James and I had time to do...absolutely NOTHING. We watched an entire season of Smallville in a few days, moved into our basement apartment and I got a little crafty. We had an old, yellow desk that I felt could potentially be something great. I took a little trip to Home Depot, found the paint and new hardware and went to work. I wish I had more "before" pictures but....Ta Da!





It's amazing what a little bit of paint and some shiny new handles and knobs can do to a piece of furniture. It made me want to redo all of our stuff!

I also had the chance to spend the night with my favorite kids while their parents headed out for some birthday celebrations. I loved hanging out with Braylee and Kason, we watched lots of movies and did a lot of goofing around. :)
